Compucraft’s welding capabilities offer a wide range of welding types. Our team of welders have experience in all types of materials and thickness. Our welding processes are NADCAP Accredited.
TIG (GTAW) WELDING
Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding, also known as Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) is an arc welding process that produces the weld with a non-consumable tungsten electrode.
We utilize five TIG welders.
MIG (GMAW) WELDING
Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding is an arc welding process in which a continuous solid wire electrode is fed through a welding gun and into the weld pool, joining the two base materials together.
We utilize two MIG welders.
RESISTANCE WELDING
Resistance welding is the joining of metals by applying pressure and passing current for a length of time through the metal area which is to be joined. The key advantage of resistance welding is that no other materials are needed to create the bond, which makes this process extremely cost effective.
Spot and Seam are the types of resistance welding done at Compucraft.
CERTIFICATIONS
All of our welders must submit coupons for certification to the various types of material that they will be welding. We use a NADCAP approved, third party supplier for welder certifications and our WPS/PQR approvals.
