Heat Treating can be an essential part of the manufacturing process. Compucraft’s internal capability include the heat treating of aluminum titanium, steel and nickel based alloys.
ALUMINUM HEAT TREATING
Our “Drop Bottom” furnace that we use for the annealing and solution heat treating of aluminum alloys has a temperature range from 450 – 1000 degrees F.
In addition to solution heat treating and annealing, we also have two aging ovens with temperature ranges from 100 – 400 degrees F.
TITANIUM
Our Titanium furnaces allow the stress relieving and annealing of Titanium alloys from CP to 6AL-4V and more.
STEEL & NICKEL BASED ALLOYS
Steel and nickel based allows are heat treated at very high temperatures. Our air and vacuum furnaces provide the ability to process these metals at these higher temperatures.
COLD STORAGE
After the solution heat treat process, aluminum parts may sometimes require cold storage. Our 10 ft x 30 ft walk in freezer provides cold storage down to -20 deg. F.
